WUHAN, July 14 (Xinhua) -- A chlorine gas leak occurred in a bio-tech firm in central China's metropolis of Wuhan Saturday morning. No information on casualties are immediately available.
The municipal fire department has dispatched more than 30 firefighters to the Wuhan Xingwang Bio-Tech Co. Ltd.
The department said the leakage might have been triggered after the company's chemical stock was soaked by rainwater after heavy downpour battered the city Friday.
