GUIYANG, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed and 12 injured Saturday noon as a truck scratched 10 vehicles after losing control down a slope in southwest China, local authorities said.
A heavy-duty truck registered in Shandong province grazed 10 cars and motorcycles at about 12:10 p.m. while running down a slope in the city of Kaili in Guizhou province, the city's emergency response office said in a statement.
Two motorcyclists were killed at the scene. The 12 injured, including two in critical condition, have been sent to a local hospital for medical treatment.
Local police are investigating the cause of the accident.
