Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang said today that Japan’s stance on the Diaoyu Islands issue is a blatant denial to the world’s victorious achievements from the anti-fascist war, and a grave challenge to the post-war international order.

Li Keqiang said China will firmly stand up for its sovereignty over the islands.

Li made the above remarks when having a meet with the visiting Prime Minister, Peter O’Neill, of Papua New Guinea in the northwest city of Yinchuan. The PNG Prime Minister thinks Japan’s practice cannot be accepted by the international community.
