SAN JOSE, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- Top Chinese political advisor Jia Qinglin left here on Wednesday morning for Argentina after wrapping up an official goodwill visit to Costa Rica.
During the visit, Jia met with Costa Rican President Laura Chinchilla and Legislative Assembly President Victor Emilio Granados. He also delivered a speech at a plenary session of the Assembly.
Jia, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), exchanged views with his Costa Rican hosts on how to further advance bilateral cooperation.
The CPPCC is China's key advisory body for multi-party cooperation and political consultation.
Jia arrived in Costa Rica on Monday, on the second leg of a three-nation tour. He previously visited Italy, and Argentina will be the next stop.
