BEIJING, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- Stephon Marbury scored season-high 38 points as defending champions Beijing Ducks snapped Shandong Gold's five-match winning streak with a 105-98 victory in Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) League on Friday.

"The opponent is a tough team, but I always believe that we can beat them at last," said Marbury.

Ji Zhe had 24 points for the Ducks, which trailed by five points after the first quarter but bounced back in the second. After Ji made a 3-pointer, Beijing went 41-40 ahead.
