4 killed in NW China forest fire

XI'AN, March 22 (Xinhua) -- Four people were killed and four more injured in fighting a forest fire in Zhashui County, northwest China's Shaanxi Province on Friday, local authorities confirmed on Saturday.

The forest fire was started by Yang, a resident of Chejiahe Village on Friday, after a fight with his wife, according to the county government of Zhashui.

Local residents and government staff were still fighting the fire on Saturday morning.

Yang is now in police custody.
