Big bell of Place De La Bastille exhibited in Beijing

BEIJING, June 2(Xinhuanet)-- Visitors to the Big Bell Temple in Beijing will be able to have a close look of the big bell of Place De La Bastille of France, beginning Thursday.

The big bell of Place De La Bastille, together with 96 other rare French bells, will be exhibited at the Ancient Bells Museum inside the Big Bell Temple of Beijing for three months.

The French bells were made from the 2nd century B.C. to the year 2000, covering the complete history of France's bells.

The exhibition is part of the French Culture Year in China. Enditem
