Tibet hails anniversary of regional autonomy

A grand ceremony, attended by 20,000 farmers, herdsmen, workers, lamas, artists and government officials, was held in Lhasa Thursday to mark the 40th founding anniversary of the Tibet Autonomous Region in southwestern China.
