Dog leads police to his wanted master

BEIJING, Jan. 28 -- Police in Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang province, arrested a man wanted for nine years last Saturday with the help of his pet dog.

Encountering a police patrol along a road on the outskirts of Harbin, the man surnamed Wang fled into a residential area. The police gave chase but failed to catch him.

The man, unfortunately, left his dog behind. The dog followed the scent of Wang with the police close behind.

The dog led police to a building where Wang was arrested. Wang is wanted in connection with a stabbing case in 1999.
