Logo of the Seventh Asia-Europe Meeting

The idea of the logo of the Seventh Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM 7) derives from a Chinese knot, symbolizing cooperation and harmony between Asia and Europe. The letters 'a' and 'e' stand for Asia and Europe, and the golden section of the letter 'e' forms the Chinese character for seven, indicating the Seventh ASEM Summit.

The logo will be used for the official website, documents, pamphlets and audio/visual materials of ASEM 7. Trademark, intellectual property and copyright rights of the logo are reserved and protected by applicable laws of the People's Republic of China. The logo can only be used in connection with the Seventh Asia-Europe Meeting and related events.

Logo designed by Beijing CS Design Co., Ltd. was chosen by an expert panel of the ASEM 7 Secretariat from entries of a design competition.
