Giant panda pair having fun before leaving for Taiwan

Tuantuan and Yuanyuan, a pair of giant pandas ready for a maiden journey to Taiwan, were seen playing at the Bifengxia Base of the Chinese Giant Panda Research and Protection Center in Ya'an County, southwest China's Sichuan Province, December 3, 2008.

As a gift by the mainland to Taiwan, the panda pair is expected to leave for the Mucha Zoo in Taipei in one month at the earliest though the exact date has yet to be finalized, according to reports.
