The 2009 Tianfu-Nanchong Counterterror Emergency-Disposal Joint Manoeuvre was held in Nanchong, southwest China's Sichuan Province, Sept. 1, 2009.
The joint manoeuvre involves over 1,300 personnel from Fire Control, Public Security, Armed Police, Transports and Communications and other 20 departments to engage in drillings of explosive-removal, fire extinguishment, mass evacuation, etc, in a bid to boost inter-cities cooperative capacities to guard against and deter terror attacks and accidents,
