Shop assistants remove property from a low-lying shop in the flood-hit Donglan county, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on June 1.

The county was ravaged by flash floods, which caused landslides and blocked roads, with a maximum rainfall of 100 mm, leaving many shops and residences affected.

The local government was rallying relief efforts for the disaster.
