The new Beichuan Middle School in Qiang Autonomous County of Beichuan, southwest China's Sichuan Province, was completed and put into use Thursday. Some 3,000 teachers and students of the middle school will start a new semester in the school from Sept. 1, 2010. The former Beichuan Middle School was badly hit in the May 12 earthquake in 2008. More than 1,300 of the school's 2,900 students and teachers were killed or missing in the disaster.
