Grassland fire put out in SW China

Fire fighters had put out a wild fire raging for about 24 hours on a plateau grassland by noon Monday in Daofu county, Tibetan autonomous prefecture of Garze, Southwest China's Sichuan province.

Fire fighters were still busy clearing embers in an area of about 200 mu (13 hectares) of burnt grassland.
