Students resume school in flood-ravaged SW China

Faculty and staff members of Wangmo No.1 Elementary School cleared the playground at Wangmo County in Qianxinan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China's Guizhou Province, June 12, 2011.

About 7,000 students from six elementary and secondary schools in Wangmo will resume school Monday after floods swamped the place on June 6, 2011.

Except four schools that were seriously damaged in the flood, all the others will reopen by June 20, 2011.
