To make way for the new Beijing to Shanghai bullet train, which will begin services on July 1st, the Beijing to Shanghai CRH Couchette will cease operations on June 30.

Meanwhile, ticket prices for the trans-city CRH from Shanghai to Nanjing will drop along with its speed, the Xinhua news agency reported.
