NANCHANG, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- Four workers were killed, with another three injured, when an arch over a hotel gateway collapsed on Thursday in east China's Jiangxi Province, local authorities said.
The accident occurred at 12:45 p.m., when seven workers were building the gateway arch, in the county of Yifeng, said a spokesman with the county government.
Two were killed on the spot and another two died in hospital. It was not immediately known whether the injuries of the other three were life-threatening, he said.
The cause of the accident is under way.
