Lui Ying is the only grade five student at Liutang Primary School of Benxi city, Northeast China's Liaoning province.

To offer an equal opportunity of education, the school accepted the girl and opened nine single classes including mathematics, Chinese, English, science and computer. "We need to teach her not only the knowledge, but also gratefulness and respect," said Pang Jingli, Liu's head teacher.
