Informed by a message on Weibo, thousands of residents rush into a field for strawberry picking in Zhengzhou, Henan province on Feb 18, 2012.

Zhuang Liang, the owner of the understaffed field, cannot deal with the fruit produced on the 13,000 square meter garden, so he reached out for neighborly help on Weibo.

However, the number of visitors has exceeded Zhuang's expectations, leading to a buildup of waste as inexperienced residents tread on strawberries and pick unripe fruits.
