People visited the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders in Nanjing, east China's Jiangsu Province, Feb. 24, 2012. A Japanese official's remarks that the 1937 Nanjing Massacre "probably never happened" has aroused protest in Nanjing recently. Takashi Kawamura, mayor of Japan's Nagoya, said on Feb. 20 that the 1937 Nanjing Massacre "probably never happened" while meeting with a delegation from Nanjing.
