BEIJING, March 27 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and visiting Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny held talks at Beijing's Great Hall of the People on Tuesday afternoon on bilateral ties and cooperation.
Before the talks, Wen held a red-carpet welcoming ceremony for Kenny's visit.
Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping also met with Kenny on Monday afternoon.
Invited by Wen, Kenny started his five-day official China visit in Shanghai on March 25. While there, he met with businessmen from the two countries and visited Irish companies in China.
