Tujia students enjoy nutritious lunch

Shu Yunzhou is the only teacher at Luoquanyan Primary School, Xuan'en County of Hubei province, which has 8 students of Tujia ethnic minority.

The authorities now allocate 24 yuan a day for the 8 students as their lunch subsidies. Xuan'en county launched a "School Lunch Programe" in April this year, offering subsidies to provide nutritious lunch for students and since then, for the first time, a school kitchen was built in Luoquanyan Primary School.
