Harbin trade fair concludes

The 23rd China Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair concluded Tuesday in Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.

The Fair ran on June 15-19, with more than 8,700 exhibitors from 76 countries and regions attending the event.

As China and Russia launched the Sino-Russia Tourism Year in 2012, with an accompanying initiative to be launched in Russia in 2013, the tourism sector was also be promoted during the Fair.

In 2011, bilateral trade between China and Russia reached 80 billion U.S. dollars, a record high showing a 42.7-percent year-on-year rise.
