An outdoor LED broadcast a porn movie for about 20 minutes at 7 pm Tuesday in downtown Pingdingshan, a city of central Henan province, drawing crowds of people to the scene.
The LED screen belongs to a furniture store located at the 2nd floor of a commercial building. Japanese porn actress Aoi Sola reportedly stars in the movie.
Police said in a statement Wednesday afternoon that an employee of the furniture store surnamed Li was behind this mischievious incident following initial investigations and they arrested the person in question, and he will be under a 15-day detention.
Many witnesses posted pictures taken by cellphone on Weibo, a popular Twitter-like Chinese microblogging service.
An onlooker said, "I really don't want to say the F*** word, but this just crossed the line. Can it be more embarassing?"
