China on Thursday launched a set of maps, named Maps of Diaoyu Islands and Affiliated Islands of the People’s Republic of China, in Beijing.
The maps were sold out within 20 minutes after hitting shelves in a downtown bookstore in Beijing.
About 1,500 copies were out in its first printing. The maps have been mailed to bookstores in Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing and several other big Chinese cities at the same time and will soon be available there.
