Senior Chinese official visits Singapore on bilateral ties
Senior Chinese official Zhou Yongkang arrived in Singapore on Friday for a two-day visit to strengthen bilateral ties and promote cooperation in social management with the city state.
"Singapore is China's close neighbor and friend. The two countries are strongly connected and culturally interlinked. The development of bilateral relations has maintained good momentum," Zhou, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, said in a written statement upon his arrival.Full story
China, Singapore hold forum to promote social management cooperation
China and Singapore will enhance bilateral cooperation in social management through experience sharing, a senior Chinese official said here on Friday at the opening ceremony of the 2012 China-Singapore Forum on Social Management.
