Taiwan flight slips out of runway

A DHC6-400 plane from Taitung to Lansu slipped out of the runway while it was landing around 3:30 pm on April 13. It slipped over a water gap and run into the fence. Fortunately, the 17 passengers and two staff members left the plane safely, except that three passengers were slightly injured. The cause of the incident was suspected to be the strong side winds. Investigation is underway.
