SHIJIAZHUANG, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- North China's Hebei Province reported 35 locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases and two locally transmitted asymptomatic cases on Monday, the provincial health commission said Tuesday.
All the new confirmed and asymptomatic cases were reported in the provincial capital Shijiazhuang. The new confirmed cases include 13 that were previously reported as asymptomatic cases.
By Monday, there were 800 locally transmitted confirmed cases and two imported confirmed cases being treated in hospitals in Hebei.
Another 168 locally transmitted asymptomatic cases and five imported asymptomatic cases are under medical observation, said the commission.
