BEIJING, April 30 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese netizens wished Indian vlogger Changjiang a fast recovery from COVID-19 after he posted a video online Tuesday about his experience contracting the illness.

Changjiang is a young man who currently lives in India, but studied medicine in China, according to his social media profile.

“I never thought I would get this virus,” said Changjiang in a hoarse voice in the video.

“I didn’t know how it would turn out, so I took a video of my experience these two days to share it with people,” he said.

After watching the video, many Chinese netizens left messages of goodwill in the comment section.

“Blessings to you and get well quickly. We’re praying for you in China,” a netizen commented.

Other netizens shared good wishes not only for Changjiang, but that the whole of India will have their epidemic situation under control.

This attitude shows the goodwill that exists for people all over the world suffering from the pandemic and the hope for a speedy recovery worldwide.

Some Chinese netizens also offered advice on how to fight the virus.

“Apart from nutrition, the main thing is to drink water,” said one internet user, while others recommended isolation and sticking to a course of medicine.

A user claiming to have a medical background offered him more detailed advice: use a surgical mask properly, disinfect everything he touches, remain isolated until he receives a negative test, monitor his temperature and get a CT scan if conditions permit.

Changjiang also thanked his well wishers for their support in the video.

“Even though I am not a big internet star, I had a lot of Chinese people show their concern for me. I’m very moved,” said Changjiang.
