The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals will clash helmets on the gridiron in Tampa Bay, Florida for Super Bowl XLIII. The game will be aired on CCTV 5, which means everyone in China could easily see the world championship of American football. But, with close to a dozen bars around Beijing broadcasting the game live Monday, Feb. 2 starting at 7 a.m., who wants to be watching one of the biggest sporting events in the world from the couch?
In conjunction with NFL China, Goose and Duck will be hosting the official Super Bowl party in Beijing. Frank’s Place will be serving an American breakfast with beer for YY98. And Luga’s Villa will begin a set breakfast starting at 6 a.m. for YY20, in addition to the “half time” half price on all drinks.
Both Rickshaw and The Saddle Cantina will be doing breakfast specials along with the Super Bowl. And Paddy O’Shea’s will air the game on five television screens. Additionally, Tim’s Texas Roadhouse on Lady Street, Hooters, All Star Sports Bar and Grill, and The Den are all airing the Super Bowl. As always, call ahead to confirm.
