Joe Hisaishi & Hayao Miyazaki Animation Symphony Concert

The Orchestra is composed of 80 talented musicians who are professional players of wood-wind, strings, brass, etc. The magnificent music, combined with the stunning scenes from Miyazaki’s animations, will surely bring the audience a superb experience!

Most of the animations of Miyazaki are featured with different kinds of music. For instance, we have Irish folks in “Castle in the Sky”, childish and fun music in “My Neighbor Totoro”, American country music played by brass in “Kiki's Delivery Service”, traditional Japanese style in “Princess Mononoke”... The music and the movie scenes will bring you into a wonderful world of fantasy and romance.

Through a combination of music and screen, the concert deepens the audience understanding of music. Even if you are not a frequent symphony concert audience, you will love this concert!

The classic songs will be performed by professional singers. Remember those lovely songs in “Castle in the Sky”, “My Neighbor Totoro”, “Kiki's Delivery Service”? They are so warm and touching that the concert will bring you a memorable night.
