Beijing's hutongs in danger

This language workshop, in simple Mandarin, will teach you how to discuss the destruction of the city's hutongs. The workshop will also introduce you to the debate surrounding the issue, what local people think of it, and what will happen in the future. ¥75.

Hutongs are one of Beijings landmarks and historical sights, but now they are slowly being destroyed and turned into tall buildings, or new shopping areas. Join us to learn the what/who/when/where/why, to learn about what people in Beijing think of this, and to express your own opinion to us.
