With all the pre-Chun Jie firecracking and exploding we decided to contribute some silence to the city! Yes, that's right! The long-awaited silent movie cycle is on!
Jan 16th to 22nd we'll explore the old black and white movies with no special effects, no virtual characters, just good old mimics and gesturing.
US movies of course but also Russian German and French ones. Check it up on the website www.tushuguan98.com for the schedule. TSG is the place you get what you don't get anywhere else: crazy exotic dishes (did you try the snails? the beer soup?) and silent cinema. Plus the cosmopolitic arty-farty public that stays polite when drunk.
