Good goods: The name says it all

Epicenter of Beijing rock ‘n’ roll fashion, Gulou Dong Dajie already has many indie boutiques, but Good Goods Commune is a refreshing new offering on the boulevard. It’s outfitted all in white, with floor-to-ceiling windows showing off hanging muslin mannequins. This shop carries clothes, homewares and accessories from several designers.

Check out the Good Goods Commune women’s collection for sheer, loose-fitting tops (¥680) and traditional silk dresses (¥1,880). Or try the long knitted hollow sweater (¥468) from local design brand That’s It. Taiwanese designer Envol Avec Ning brings attractive details to the mix, and there’s also delicate designer T-shirts (¥289-729) with owl and panda prints from Good Goods Commune’s new brand, Easy Point. They also have tea cup sets, fabric-leather purses and pretty thin belts. If you get tired, crash upstairs with a coffee and cake at Cheese Cake Bar.
