Today marks the beginning of the musical warfare that is Tiger Translate's Battle of the Bands. Up-and-coming acts duke it out during the 13 preliminary rounds spanning bars and stages across Beijing.

But it's not just aspiring rock superstars you'll hear - established headliners will also make an appearance, including Brain Failure, Hedgehog, Omnipotent Youth Society, Sound Fragment and more.
