Part of the Nanluoguxiang Theatre Festival, At Sea is penned by the late Israeli writer Yizhar Smilansky. Directed by Ruth Kanner, the drama takes a look at two separate stories told by two actors who are inspired by the sea. The actors change identities throughout the performance, and Kanner employs a deft touch in bringing out the best in her actors. Kanner is known for producing experimental plays and creating different styles of storytelling. This is a great chance to see her work. RMB80.
