"Sentimental Journey/Decadence in Paradise 1971-2012" is a collection of works from this prolific Japanese photographer. Araki is known both for the volume of work he produces, and his explorations of sexual themes. In this series, he documents the life and death of his wife, through photos that alone don't seem like much, but the cumulative effect is one of extraordinary tenderness and sorrow.
