Lynne, Britney back on speaking (and arguing) terms

BEIJING, Jan. 31 (Xinhuanet) -- Although Lynne Spears appears to be back on speaking -- and arguing -- terms with Britney, she is apparently suffering more heartbreak than hope.

"Britney's mom was crying so much inside the house," a family insider told E! Online after Lynne's first night at Brit's Beverly Hills home. "She is so hurt and just wants Britney to get better already ... Lynne was just trying to get (Britney) to admit herself somewhere."

The next day, Lynne and Sam Lutfi, accompanied Britney to a Mercedes-Benz dealership, but even there, Lynne was unable to get through to her troubled daughter, reports People.

"Lynne and Britney were arguing in the car the whole time," an onlooker told the magazine. "They're both upset and arguing, not having a good time at all."

Shortly after leaving the dealership, "(Britney) pulled over to the side of the road to argue with her mom more," the witness revealed.

"Lynne, at one point said, 'I just want to give her a hug. I'm very worried,'" another source informed People. "Lynne was so nervous and worried, she just kept asking how they could get her daughter back home."
