BEIJING, Feb. 13 -- Hollywood hunk Nicolas Cage has filed a lawsuit against former co-star Kathleen Turner following the allegations made in her autobiography about his behaviour on a film set.
According a spokesman at London's High Court, the 44-year-old actor has filed a "defamation, libel and slander" case against the actress.
The lawsuit is against the false claims made in her book, 'Send Yourself Roses' over Cage's behaviour when the duo starred in 1986 comedy 'Peggy Sue Got Married'.
"The action followed false allegations that appear in a forthcoming autobiography," BBC quoted Cage's spokesman as telling Daily Telegraph.
"As legal proceedings have been commenced, it would be inappropriate to comment further," he added.
Meanwhile, Turner has yet to respond to the case.
Turner's spokesman said that the actress would not be commenting on the case "at this point in time".
