NEW YORK, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl, early Friday in Long Island, New York, People magazine reported.
The girl was born at 12:12 a.m. and weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz. (about 2.47 kg), and the boy followed at 12:23 a.m., weighing 6 lbs. (about 2.72 kg), People said, quoting Simon Fields, Lopez's manager.
"Jennifer and (husband) Marc (Anthony) are delighted, thrilled and over the moon," Fields said.
They're the first children for Lopez, 38, and the fourth and fifth for Anthony, 39.
Anthony, a singer-songwriter and actor, and Lopez got married in June 2004.
