Cannes chief says Sean Penn a hard act to follow

The head of the Cannes Film Festival says Sean Penn is a hard act to follow.

The Academy Award-winning actor served as the president of last year's Cannes jury, and festival director Thierry Fremaux says he'll be missed.

That sentiment might not be shared by one of this year's jurors — actress Robin Wright Penn, who is in the midst of a divorce from the "Milk" star.

The Cannes festival opens Wednesday, and the president of this year's jury is French actress Isabelle Huppert. Huppert is the first French president since 2003 and the first woman to head the jury since Liv Ullman in 2001. That year, jurors awarded the festival's best-actress prize to — Isabelle Huppert, for "The Piano Teacher."
