Wearing a bowler hat and specs, Britney Spears shares a giggle with a friend during a shopping trip in Hollywood.
But the pop singer wasn't just trying the hat on for fun - she actually went ahead and bought the headpiece.
Made of grey felt and with a navy ribbon, the accessory saw Britney take on an almost uncanny resemblance to British comedian Jimmy Cricket, famed for wearing such head furniture.
Or perhaps she was taking a leaf out of Hollywood actress Diane Keaton's book, who is also a headwear supporter.
Whatever the case, Britney was probably in need of some good retail therapy as she shopped at the Wasteland shopping store yesterday.
Because despite the 26-year-old having made a miraculous come-back following her public breakdown, the star is due in court next Wednesday for driving without a valid licence last year.
On top of that, the Toxic singer was involved in a minor car crash yesterday.
As she was being chauffeured through west Hollywood a photographer's car collided with her vehicle.
Good job she was able to have a laugh at herself as she donned the glasses - with the price tags still attached.
