Legal experts said they were set for potentially 'the biggest divorce in British legal history'.

But now it seems that hostilities between Bernie Ecclestone, 78, and wife Slavica, 50, have ceased as the couple enjoyed a Christmas break in Belgrade.

With their arms wrapped around each other, the Formula 1 boss and his wife of 24 years appeared to be sending a pointed message - that all was well with the couple who just last month it was revealed were heading for the divorce courts, Mail Online reported.

Tycoon Ecclestone and Slavica put on an extraordinary show of closeness on a break that has been dubbed their 'second honeymoon'.

During their stay in the Serbian capital the formerly estranged couple shared a luxury suite at the Zlatnik hotel, reported local news website Blic.

The couple danced the night away as they spent the weekend holidaying in the Serbian capital.

Former model Slavica was said to have really let her hair down on a night at the city's Radmilovac restaurant where she jumped up to sing and dance with a troupe of traditional Balkan musicians.
