With her trim figure and extensive wardrobe, Lily Allen has been looking very glamorous of late.
So it was quite a departure for the singer when she posted images of herself dressed as a panda, duck and monkey on her Twitter page.
The 23-year-old, whose album It's Not Me, It's You is at number two in the UK charts, is currently in Japan.
Two days ago, Lily posted on Twitter: 'Today, I will be mostly purchasing fancy dress costumes, so excited.'
And she appears to be making the most of her new clothes, grinning happily in the photos, which also include a picture of her wearing a hat that looks like a pint of beer.
It wasn't just Lily clowning around. Her friend donned a tutu and what appeared to be a swan costume.
Her fans were quick to signal their approval for her outfits, posting comments such as 'it's ridiculous how adorable you are'.
The fun spirit of the pictures seems to be in keeping with the spirit of her current trip.
Earlier today, she posted: 'Today has been odd. I did an interview in a spaceship and went on what looked like a Japanese version of Going Live and Willy Wonka. Weird.'
She was also due to perform a gig at a secret location in Tokyo, one of three gigs on separate continents for readers of her MySpace blog.
She has already performed one in New York and is due to complete the trio in London tomorrow night.
