But, despite insisting stardom wouldn't change her, Susan Boyle has apparently taken a pair of tweezers to her famously bushy brows and dyed her grey hair her a reddish brown.

As the singer stepped out yesterday, she took great pains to cover up her new locks with a headscarf.

Her change of hair colour comes just 24 hours after Susan's eyebrows were noticeably arched and finer, compared with the previous day.

This week, Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden insisted she wouldn't let Simon Cowell 'change' Susan, but it appears the 47-year-old has set about updating her own image.

A trip to the shops has resulted in a new leather-look jacket and patterned dress, with Susan making the most of her moment in the spotlight.

But despite her new clothes and sculpted eyebrows, she is still the same old Susan who won fans with her down-to-earth persona - happily posing for photos with fans and giving a thumbs up to photographers. Mail Online reported.
