Dressed down chic was the order of the day for Jude Law and Sienna Miller as they finally prepared to fly home to London.
Not for Sienna the high wattage glamour of five inch heels and mini trenchcoat favoured by Victoria Beckham for her transatlantic travels.
Instead the actress and her 37-year-old paramour preferred a more down to earth look of tracksuit bottoms and cargo shorts.
The couple were one of thousands of Brits stranded abroad because of the Icelandic volcanic ash.
But yesterday they emerged from their LA bolthole dressed comfortably in the casualwear as they headed to the airport.
The couple, who were holidaying in Thailand before flying to the US, were spotted on Sunday enjoying the fine weather at a West Hollywood cafe and later paid a visit to friends.
Sienna, 28, put her tanned legs on show in a pair of tiny denim hotpants which certainly captured Jude's attention.
The 37-year-old actor, who was also looking rather sun-kissed, kept it casual too in shorts, a souvenir T-shirt, a stripped cardigan and black sunglasses.
There are fresh rumours that they pair are engaged again after Sienna was seen sporting the engagement ring that she was last pictured wearing after Jude gave her it in 2004.
However, Sienna has recently been spotted wearing the vintage diamond ring on her right hand.
A source said: ‘They do not want to make the engagement official which is why Sienna is wearing the ring on the wrong hand.
