BEIJING, May 29 --The cast members of the Kung Fu film "The Karate Kid" starring Jackie Chan, Jaden Smith and his father Will Smith, who produced the film, arrived in Dallas, promoting the film's premiere on Thursday, CFP.cn reports.

Jackie Chan dressed as an American cowboy for the event. Even though it rained prior to the screening, fans were still incredibly excited. The Chinese star received big hugs from the hot fans.

The remake of the 1984 hit "The Karate Kid" will open in cinemas throughout North America on June 11, and filmgoers in China will be able to enjoy the film on June 22.
