Evangelista and ex-boyfriend Francois-Henri Pinault squared off May 3 in Manhattan Family Court, where the former model said she needs to pay for armed bodyguards and a round-the-clock nanny for the boy, Augustin. Evangelista and Pinault were a couple for a few months in late 2005 and early 2006. He is now married to actress Salma Hayek.
