Jay Chou releases new album

BEIJING, Sept. 7-- After releasing a single in Italy, Taiwan's little heavenly king Jay Chou has now officially entered the Japanese entertainment industry.

Jay Chou, who is currently at the Venice Film Festival promoting car racing film Initial D, released his first Japanese album"Initial Jay" in Japan.

Jay's new album includs many tracks from Initial D, starring Japanese actress Ann Suzuki.

The Chinese version of the new album was released on Tuesday across Asia.

Critics who saw the preview have said that Jay Chou's soundtrack in the film is much better than his debut movie.
